OUR MISSION
The Mission of Upstate Church is rooted in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 NIV
Simply put, our mission is know Him and make Him known.
5 Biblical Pillars of the New Testament Church
Many churches throughout the world have tried to change the world, but in so doing have lost the basic things that all world changing churches do. God has clearly shown through His inspired word what His people are called to do and at the Upstate church, we aim to follow those examples handed down to us through God's word. These aims are based on the five pillars of the New Testament Church:
